Disciple Graham Tats is a member of Disciple Christian Motorcycle Club out of Johannesburg South Africa. He is a tattoo artist and uses that platform to provide for his family and talk about Jesus. He spent his 20s living an outlaw lifestyle tattooing 1%ers and addicted to all kinds of bad things.
In 2005 while in rehab his life changed dramatically when he had an encounter with the Lord and gave his life to Jesus. This caused him to walk away from that lifestyle completely. He quit his job at the tattoo shop and moved to a new town and started a new life as a Christian.
This was a season of getting to know God, starting a family and finding his voice for Jesus. In 2012 the Lord placed on his heart to open a tattoo shop once again and use it to share what God has done for him. It was almost like God had just sent him back into the world to the same people he got saved from and now he gets to tattoo and share Jesus in that world once again.
My Mission. Tattooing brothers and sharing Jesus globally. Since I started pursuing membership for DCMC, I have felt a strong call to the global mission while at the same time not thinking much would happen there. I mean how does a guy like me get to even travel abroad while keeping food on the table at home, it seemed an impossible dream.
After a lot of prayer about this my wife Lyndle gave me a Word which was, “Use what is in your hand.” I soon realized that with the tattoo machine in my hand there is a way for me to travel as a Disciple and see what the Lord has planned for the future.
Preparations are being made for a 3-month USA visit which will involve seeing a few crews to start with and hopefully open doors for many more. Please can I ask you to prayerfully get behind this mission and consider partnering with me to make it happen.
